Everything Before You Book
Answers to the questions guests ask us most about the Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina — pickup, the menu, deck choice and payment.
Yes, private and shared transfer options are both available for the Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina package. Private transfer for 4–5 people in one car is AED 450, while sharing transfer is free depending on availability — message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the exact pickup time the day before your cruise.
The cruise departs from a dedicated berth in Dubai Marina, close to JBR and Dubai Marina Mall. Once you book, we send the exact pier location and a boarding map by WhatsApp or email so you know exactly where to go.
If you skip the pickup service, we'll share the precise boarding location and the nearest parking via WhatsApp after booking. Most guests reach the pier easily on foot from Dubai Marina Mall or a short taxi ride from anywhere in Marina or JBR.
The main evening cruise boards between 7:45 PM and 8:00 PM, with the boat sailing from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM — a full 2 hours on the water. We also run shorter daytime and sunset boat tours from as early as 9:00 AM; check each tour's own time slots on its detail page.
Infant policies can vary by tour and season, so we'd rather confirm the exact age cutoffs and any infant pricing with you directly on WhatsApp before you book. In general, young children are welcome on board and the lower deck's air-conditioned seating is a comfortable spot for families.
We can usually arrange a baby seat if you let us know in advance — message us on WhatsApp when booking so the crew can have one ready at your table. Availability depends on the sailing, so earlier notice helps.
Yes — you can call or WhatsApp us anytime, day or night, and our team will confirm availability and reserve your seats. Online booking through our booking page also works around the clock, even outside office hours.
The dhow sails through Dubai Marina Lagoon, passing Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), the twisted Cayan Tower, Bluewaters Island, and Ain Dubai — the world's largest observation wheel — before returning to the berth. On clear nights you can sometimes spot Atlantis The Palm and Burj Al Arab in the distance too.
Expect a full Arabic and Continental buffet with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian mains — think roasted chicken, braised beef stew, fried fish, vegetable biryani, and a live pasta station — plus salads, fresh bread, and desserts like Umm Ali and crème brûlée. Unlimited soft drinks, water, Arabic coffee and dates are included from the moment you board.
Yes, you're free to choose between the upper deck's open-air seating, which is best for photos and skyline views, or the lower deck's air-conditioned seating for a cooler, quieter dinner. Seating is generally first-come, so arriving close to boarding time gives you the best pick.
No, there's no extra charge to sit on either the upper or lower deck — it's included in your ticket either way. The only add-on cost is for private pickup and drop-off, which is optional.
You'll get a full 2-hour experience: boarding with welcome drinks and dates, a buffet dinner served as you cruise past the Marina skyline, a live Tanura dance performance, and a DJ playing English, Arabic and Indian music throughout. Most guests spend the evening moving between their table, the rail for photos, and the dance floor.
Yes, public and mall parking is available near the Marina berth, though it can fill up on busy evenings — we recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before boarding if you're driving yourself. If parking is a concern, our private transfer option removes the hassle entirely.
Yes, the dhow and our yacht options can be arranged for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and other private celebrations, with the menu and decorations tailored to your occasion. Message us on WhatsApp with your group size and date and we'll put together options for you.
Group rates are available depending on the size of your party and the tour you choose — contact us on WhatsApp with your numbers and preferred date and we'll quote you directly. Larger groups on the yacht experiences in particular often work out better value per person.
The dhow cruise itself is a calm, stable ride through the Marina lagoon, but if you're pregnant we'd suggest messaging us on WhatsApp first so we can talk through the specific tour and any precautions, especially for the faster yacht tours. Your comfort and safety come first.
Yes, you can pay securely online with a debit or credit card when you book — a secure online advance payment confirms your reservation. We don't currently offer pay-on-the-day or cash-only bookings.
Once you complete your booking and payment online, you'll receive a confirmation by email and WhatsApp with your boarding time and pier location. If you don't see it within a few minutes, message us directly and our team will confirm it manually.
